Harut Grigorian brings home the Ramon Dekkers Memorial Cup to Breda after winning the four-man Welterweight Contender Tournament in Chicago last night at GLORY 44.
Harut Grigorian had to fight in the welterweight tournament last night at GLORY 44 in Chicago. The two semifinal match-ups were between Grigorian (#4 ranked) and Bensamour (#5 ranked) and between Pinto (#7 ranked) and Bunnell.
The first match-up was fought against Karim "Le Felin" Bensamour and won by unanimous decision. Antoine Pinto won the fight with Zach Bunnell. Harut Grigorian now had to face Antoine Pinto. He won this fight by unanimous decision and won the Ramon Dekkers Memorial Cup.
Ramon Dekkers was not only a great fighter but also the brother of Grigorian's trainer Nick Hemmers. Bringing home this cup is very special to all of us and well deserved by Harut Grigorian!
