The main event of the night was the 8 man heavyweight tournament. Jamal Ben Saddik fought in this 8 man heavyweight tournament. The tournament consisted out of the 4 top ranked in the division versus 4 hungry challengers. The four top ranked are: Benjamin Adegubyi, Jamal Ben Saddik, Guto Inocente and Jahfarr Wilnis. Jamal is the #2 heavyweight in the Glory Ranking and has a professional record of 32-7-0 (26 KO) and fight from Marocco.

Jamal started his first fight against Junior Tafa, who is the #4 heavyweight in the ranking. This was a really quick fight and ended in the first round after 2 knock downs of Junior Tafa. Jamal Ben Saddik won the fight after 2:55minutes in the first round with a TKO (technical knock out).

The second fight, semi-finals, Jamal fought against Guto Inocente, who is the #3 heavyweight in the ranking. Jamal started really strong and kept pressuring Inocente. The judges scored him the first two rounds. The last round Jamal was more preserved, they people assumed he was saving his strenght for the finals. But even then he also won the last round. Making him the winner of the semi-finals by unanimous decision.

The last fight, the finals, he fought against Benjamin Adegubyi, who is the #1 in the glory ranking. Jamal Ben Saddik came strong and was determined to win, but changed up his fighting style and fought with left in stead of right as he normally does. He won the fight with a spectacular left punch that knocked out Adegubyi. Jamal Ben Saddik is the winner of the 8 man heavyweight tournament and won the belt! We later found out that Jamal broke his right hand during the fight against Incocente, but he is a true champion and continued the tournament and won!
